Last night was a big one for the Tresor Paris team as it was the press launch of the Nouveau Hexagone watch collection.
The Tresor Paris bus descended on Berkeley Square in Mayfair early in the afternoon so the team could begin setting up the venue; Jack Barclay Bentley, a stunning supercar show room.
With floor to ceiling windows, sparkling white and black marble flooring and sky-high ceilings, there was no way the event could be anything but truly glamorous.
At 6.30pm, mere minutes after the last watch was put into place, guests began arriving. After being greeted with a glass of Champagne Jacquart, and nibbling on delectable canapés, guests took the opportunity to have a look at the beautiful watch displays. For those who wanted a closer look, there were a variety of watches available to try on.
Of course, no launch party would be complete without a few celebrities in attendance. With big names including Professor Green, Uri Geller, Phats and Small Ben Ofoedu, DCI Banks actor Ray Panthanki, The Streets Leo the Lion and former Eastenders star Michael Greco. Boyzone’s Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy were there and kept guests entertained by throwing some serious shapes on the dance floor, not to mention Shane’s beard! What do you think? Do you love it? Or are you more of a clean shave fan?
Throughout the evening magician Josh Brett performed some amazing tricks. He genuinely left me speechless, it really does seem like magic! Not to forget Uri Geller. I wish I knew how it is possible that he can bend a spoon with his mind? We even bought the spoons from a well-known homeware shop so we know they were not a special kind of bendy spoon! Crazy!
Singer/Songwriter Jonny Winston gave a spine-tingling performance and Jumbles, one of the UK’s best flaring bartenders kept guests entertained with his skills. These two definitely kept the ladies happy throughout the evening. Mojitos appeared to be the drink of choice for most guests, made using Ver2 Vodka. With a choice of Pays d’Or IGP white, rose and red wines, there was a drink for even those with the most discerning tastes.
To top off the fantastic evening, each guest was treated to a goody bag full of luxurious gifts including Hanley’s Confectionery chocolates, Lee Stafford hair products, Kryolan make-up, Retrocorn popcorn, Crabtree and Evelyn Handcream, Invisibobbles, Dalit soap and candles, a Tresor Paris pen, USB stick, and a postcard featuring a bespoke artwork of a Nouveau Hexagone watch by Jasiminne Yip.
Of course, we were all there to celebrate the upcoming release of the Nouveau Hexagone watch collection. These striking watches are Swiss-made and come in an array of different designs. Faces are covered with diamond cut glass for an iconic Tresor Paris look. Made from 316L Stainless Steel, the watches and bezels feature 18 carat white, rose, yellow gold and/or black plating. All the bezels are interchangeable if you want to co-ordinate for day and evening or with various outfits. There are three different sizes: 40mm, 44mm, 48mm according to one’s taste and all feature at least one stunning diamond.
It is not long to wait now, the watches will be released for pre-order on the Tresor Paris website 2nd April 2014 and will be available to purchase from stockists worldwide in May.
