Last night the Tresor Paris team attended the VIP Skate in Style Evening at Westfield London for the press opening of this season’s ice rink. Open from the 21st November to 5th January 2014, there will be a Tresor Paris pop-up shop with lots of shimmering jewellery. Perfectly located in the Atrium of the White City shopping centre, this ice rink is a must do this season.
On arrival, guests were greeted with a glass of champagne and canapés, a sure way to begin a perfect evening. Everyone was then given the chance to meet Father Christmas in Santa’s grotto. Following a ribbon cutting ceremony, the ice rink was officially opened for this season.
Burlesque on Ice, a truly unique and beautiful group of talented men and women, gave an amazing performance. As well as Jack Topping, an exceptional young boy, who left the audience awed by his performance. There were also numerous celebrities in attendance including former Eastenders actresses Lucy Benjamin and Nina Wadia, Former X Factor contestants Kingsland Road, Actress Fay Ripley, Holby City stars Tina Hobley and Patricia Potter with their children, Louise from Made In Chelsea and Lydia Bright from TOWIE.
Following the outstanding performances, guests were given the opportunity to take a spin on the ice rink. Those who were less confident on the ice were able to steady themselves against a penguin, and those who felt really lazy were treated like royalty by sitting on sea lions and being pushed around by fellow skaters.
One of the highlights of the evening was the Christmas light switch-on ceremony. Guests were awed by a beautiful indoor firework display and a countdown, led by Jack Topping, to reveal the twinkling icicle style Christmas lights.
The Tresor Paris pop-up shop was open for guests to browse the beautiful jewellery, with many going home sparkling in their new purchases. The Kingsland Road boys were particular fans and they were pictured wearing bracelets from the Emerald Green and Tornade collections.
To top of a fabulous evening, guests were given goodie bags with some amazing treats including; a special edition of Vogue created especially for Westfield, a NARS lip pencil, a voucher for L K Bennet, a Zatchels voucher and a Jack Topping CD.
Definitely not one to miss this year, so head down to Westfield London, glide on the ice and warm up in the Tresor Paris pop-up shop. The shop will be open weekdays and Saturdays 10am-10pm and Sundays and Public Holidays 12pm-6pm.
